The special sales promotion program was successfully organized at the Ceyfish outlet located at Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Gampaha on 04th and 05th of April 2025.
While taking steps to continuously provide fresh fish to the customers at reasonable prices, a special draw was also held and valuable prizes were awarded to the customers during this program conducted by the Regional Manager of Negombo, Gampaha and the staff.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of the Ceylon Fisheries Corporation, Mr. J.A.K. Mark, stated that steps have been taken to minimize the fish shortage that may arise during the upcoming New Year season and to control the price increase. Furthermore, small frozen fish packets of 300-400 grams are to be introduced as a pilot project in 21 already identified Sathosa outlets. The Chairman further said that these small-sized packets can be easily carried even in anyone's handbag.
