The Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Mr. Ramalingam Chandrasekhar stated, “On behalf of the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the Aqua Planet Sri Lanka - 2025, International Exhibition organized on the occasion of World Fisheries Day.
I would also like to express my gratitude to Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Mr. Ratna Gamage, Secretary to the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Dr. B. K. Kolitha Kamal Jeenadasa, Director General of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Chairman of the National Aquaculture Development Authority, senior officials of the Ministry, heads and directors of our institutions, media officers, technical experts and all the staff who played a key role in planning, coordinating and successfully implementing the exhibition.
I would also like to extend my respectful gratitude to the Prime Minister, Ministers, diplomats, local and international guests who participated in this event enhancing its significance.
