Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda said that under the fourth phase of X-Press Pearl ship damage compensation, measures will be taken to provide compensation to fishermen working in the dried fish industry as well as to people engaged in other jobs related to fishing.
Mr. Kang, a leading businessman from South Korea, met the Minister of Fisheries, Douglas Devananda, at the Ministry of Fisheries on 29.08.2023 and discussed about arrangements over investment in Sri Lanka to start a fish food and fish-related food manufacturing factory and a boat manufacturing factory.
