Sri Lanka seeks the assistance of France to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and to develop maritime surveillance capabilities.
The Mullaitivu District Fisheries Coordination Committee meeting was successfully held yesterday (25th of June) at the Mullaitivu District Secretariat under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Hon. Rathna Gamage.
The Jaffna District Fisheries Coordination Committee meeting was held on 25.06.2025 at the Jaffna District Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Mr. Ramalingam Chandrasekar, with the participation of Deputy Minister Rathna Gamage.
